A Bruising Schedule

 Brain cancer is...

 ...welcoming Nova to vacation planning, Guillaume style.

Tiana, Alex, and Nova arrived for a few days of vacation with us last night.  As you see, above, Nova was greeted with a sticky note schedule.  

That's how we plan vacations:  Lots of sticky notes with ideas. The notes can be arranged, discarded, or supplemented as the day unfolds.  

So far so good!

 1.  Fort building?  Good start!

2.  Duplos?  Check out portable wall by G'Pops.

 3.  Author study over breakfast: Eric Carle.

4.  Going off schedule, which doubles the fun:

Applause for the hat party

Making mixed media art:  First draw, then sit on the work while painting.

Kitchen stool/sea animal play

We had a perfect day of sticky notes and not sticky notes.
