The Pacific Crest Trail: Guillaume Chunk Five

 ...winter hiking.

The snow is mostly just patchy, so we decided to try another chunk (our fifth) of the Pacific Crest Trail today.  

Every chunk of the trail we try is a different kind of wonderful.  Some same, some different.  Today's chunk, which headed south from our starting point near Baldwin Lake, wound up and down, in and out of snow, and played peek a boo with the Mojave Desert beyond.
