Sometimes we laugh without leaving the house.  Like today. 

We definitely laughed when Darrell practiced using Qtips to dry both ears at once after a shower (above).  The skill of simultaneous ear drying is so advanced, I don't even attempt it.

Before that, we laughed when Darrell’s breakfast plate looked like this at the end of his meal.

 

What you are seeing is tiny fragments of egg yolk, one partial bite of sourdough toast, the end of a banana, and one tangerine segment.  He left all very purposefully on his plate.  

Why?  Because he likes butts.  

(The backstory:  Most family and long term friends of Darrell know that just about every food he eats has an inedible butt.  One prevalent example is French fries.  At the end of almost every French fry is a fry butt.  All green foods are susceptible to having butts that must not be eaten but rather left on the plate in reverence. Oddly, prime cuts of meat almost never have butts.)

If I make Darrell's life interesting, he makes mine lighthearted.
