Parent Day Rituals: Old and New

Brain cancer is...

...serving Gordon mimosas for breakfast and LuAnn margaritas for lunch.

Since the Covid, we have been missing the normal rituals that come with Parent Day.  Here is Gordon enjoying a mimosa (or two) on his front porch with current favorite, an Egg McMuffin.

We then went to one of LuAnn's favorite Mexican restaurants in Azusa (Max's*)  and we ordered food to go.  You see LuAnn, above, with Tucker.  We brought flautas back to eat outside...including margaritas! We like this new ritual:  Takeout margaritas.

What is life without rituals, Team D?

*PS...If you ever want to feel like you're a restaurant regular, go to Max's.  They shout out to each guest, "Where you been?" like they really care where we beeeeen.  We love it.
