From Snoring to Singing in Ten Seconds Flat

Brain cancer is...

  ...carving out happiness.

Darrell went from snoring to waking up and singing the song of the day (Feeling Groovy) in ten seconds this morning.  It impressed me greatly.

As you know from recent posts, our days are lately full with many priorities and lots of emotion.  So when Darrell woke up this morning singing the most ridiculously happy song, it reminded me that happiness isn't something that happens.  It's something people create. 

Sometimes it takes a heck of a lot more effort than other times, but today I'm reminded that it's possible to carve out some happiness in each day, including the first ten seconds of the morning...and a trip through the floral section at Ralph's. Check out the peonies above.  Who makes flowers this color?

We are wishing you, at minimum, ten seconds of happiness today, loved ones.
