I had a touch of the leaba for the last week. Too much travels. And well I was a little weak. I suspect it was a little anemia. Not enough oxygen in the blood and iron. But thankfully today I am feeling alot better and myself and some pals had the craic last night watching macnas perform on Mary street. what an absolute stunning parade. Loved every minute and had a lovely bowl of soup with Johnny in the Church before. So nice and romantic. As some of you might already know I love an aul dress up and so we got dressed up for the craic. On entering the restaurant Johnny asked why we were dressed up and no one else was. I told him because they should be dressed up. They are the odd ones out not us! When people asked us were we part of the parade, sure I was only delighted! Mad mother.

............................................................................................................................................................

I had the most intense dream last night. I was in the most beautiful world and my life depended on getting to this high walled castle that was across a very large plain of land. Across this land lay everything from a forest to a river and alot of barren land. When I got to the edge of the land, there was a small cabin. I had some bits and bobs in my bag which I lay out on a wooden plank when arriving to the cabin. I lit a fire to warm my weary bones. For days I looked out the window and I could see my most difficult challenge. A large white tiger. He was fierce and he was hungry and he knew I was there for the taking.

A few days I went out to run and see how fast I was or he was. But I had the fear. This animal was in his prime, so I needed to somehow trick him. He was so beautiful with gorgeous fur and a big pink mouth that was ready for me.

So I devised a plan to get him up on the roof of the cabin and lay down my rug on top of the wooden slats. I was running out of food and I felt a little weak. I would crumble a little bit of a crisp into a piece of bread I had flattened down as it was getting stale so when I flattened it down it was more like a cracker that I could wrap around the little crumbles of food I had rationed over the days. I kept the crisps so as to have enough salt in my blood stream. Then had various vegetables and a bit of cheese that I sliced so thinly to create nice morcels to eat. There was a little stream I would sneak out to get some water at night when he was asleep at the back of the house. I climbed up on the roof too in the early morning and hang by my fingers on the edge of the roof.

So the day finally came when I would try to kill the tiger. I had sewn all the little scraps of fabrics that lay around the cabin and tied them together to create one large blanket. I strapped up all my clothing so I wouldnt trip and tied everything tight enough that I would feel secure but not so tight that it would stop my blood flow. I did alot of breathing techniques so I could run my fastest over the 2 weeks or so that I was there. I felt light this morning. I felt strong and I knew that I would overturn the tiger.

So I went out and saw him and he walked slowly up. I jumped up on the roof and lay the blanket over the roof. I didnt know if he could get up on the roof so he walked around the house for hours. I hadnt thought about that. I was getting hungry and now he had trapped me on the roof. I then cut one of the branches from one of the nearby trees so he could climb up on the roof and he didnt go for that. But then he did jump up finally on the wooden frame beside the door beside the steps. Then I see his paw coming up and then his head. This fine beautiful beast is on the roof. He walks around the edge of my blanket. I thought I should have put leaves on it to camoflage it. Then he lay down. He was only 3 metres away from me now. I was lying down at the edge holding onto the edge of the fabric. Finally he begins to walk over to me and I grip the sheet and slowly start pulling it towards me....I am so scared now and I am hoping this is going to work. Then all of a sudden he leaps for me and skids on the rug so it all ruffles up and I pull the rug with one hand while holding onto the ledge and then I pull him off the roof and down he tumbles to the ground. I can see hes breathing heavily but hes lying still almost dead on the ground.

I woke to Johnny saying my name and russling the covers.

Funnily enough, today then we were having lunch in The Cake Shop with the family and Tiger was the last person to clean the bathroom. Tiger dreams interpretations are interesting. But basically its a big obstacle coming your way. Oh really now? Sure all in a days work. Wheres those needles and threads!!
