I have been busy over the last few weeks. I guess I try to keep busy so I dont get sad. The passing of my pal has had a big effect on me. Grace played a big role in my life over the last few months. She was the most positive person I know. I am glad I met her, she gave me a power and always said I would heal.
I honestly have been feeling good in the body over the last few weeks. I have put weight on and I feel actually very strong. Yes for sure I get pangs of pain, anxiety and sadness can kick in. Alot has happened over the last few months and I am coming out of a very large chapter of my life. Gosh my life has been interesting!
I am currently making curtains for one of the best restaurants in Ireland - Eastern Seaboard in Drogheda. I am delighted to be asked to do this by Jeni. Its So rewarding when people like what you do and just give you free reign on something. I am up for this challenge. They will be so fab! So every corner of my apartment is covered in strips of fabrics which I am knotting together and creating 4 huge textured drapes. Its just so fun. Ill post pics when I get my phone back next week. Actually best thing that ever happened. I will get some work done.
Over the last few weeks I have also been called to speak with some family friends who are dealing with cancer or a family member who was just diagnosed. Its such a challenge when someone in your family is diagnosed. The heartache and the unknown is the most annoying, sad but mostly frustrating thing. There was this innate part of me that just wanted to shout out to everyone to leave their phones down, leave your job, your unhappy place and lets just go on a holiday, sail across the world, just be with one another as life is about to end. But instead we just have to realise that life goes on.
There is nothing more comforting than speaking to someone who has been through it, or going through it to get that sense of security that everything is going to be alright. We all need that sense of comfort. And I guess I have fallen somewhat into that role. As right now I seem to be doing something right. Its a wonderful life opportunity and I am just going to row with it for now.
So I began to create these little videos at home. It was something I had been meaning to do, to show people what to do to create some little life hacks. Its very informal!! It was a one shot wonder. Camera men and editing are not cheap. But I think its good to share information and knowledge. So here goes. Its saves me having to repeat myself constantly too. I am actually slightly mortified. I need a bit of help. I do mumble and I eat and drink too loudly so please forgive me. I am defo not giving up my dayjob! Welcome to the gypsy shack! lol....
I only want to share this with my blog readers for the moment. Its a private video for you guys only. Only people with the link can watch it. So please dont put it on facebook. I would appreciate that. Send it to family or friends. I will be releasing others soon too.
