Good news - xxx

Last week I got good news. I apologise for the delay in writing this post. There were countless people onto me wondering how the results were. and because I had not wrote about it people expected the worst.

But the good news is that my tumour markers have shrank by half and the large 9cm tumour has also cut in half. SO THIS IS EXCELLENT RESULT. after only 6 weeks of chemo. Some of my other buddies were in shock. So long may this last.

I had my appointment on the 7th of March for the scan and got a letter to come in on the 27th for results. 3 weeks is a long wait when you are in the position. But not a thought did I give it. Not one ounce of worry entered my mind in that wait.

So myself and Mum headed in to get results and on entering the reception there was no one there. Thats unusual I thought to myself. Then the receptionist said that my oncologist wasnt in today. Were we sure we had the right date. (My mum is never wrong!) We were positive. Anyway my nurse came out and told us she could print off the results. When she came out with them she seemed pleased. there was alot more writing on it than usual and she went down through it with us. I am also very aware that they give good news to ease the patient. But I was happy we were not being brought into a room as that usually means not good news. So she said she would have to call the oncologist to see if it was ok for her to deliver the full report to me. She came back and read it all out and I was very happy.

So I thank you for all those prayers and positive thoughts. I know they are all working in my recovery.

But I am not a passive patient. We all know that by now. Yes I am not a saint. I still had the gluten free sugar loaded brownie on the train yesterday. (it was gross but it was easter Sunday!) but all the power I put into my body daily. All the conversations I have with the inner me. All the amazing food I deliver to my cells to oxygenate the ones that are making me thrive. It gives me strength in knowing that there are so many who are living good lives with this disease on good diets and emotional managment.

I thought from the very beginning that No doctor is going to heal me. Because the dont. they dont know what you eat everyday. The dont test what metabolic type you have. The treat symptoms. They dont get to the root of the cause. In saying that. I will probably never get to the root of it either. But I will certainly build my body and mind to enable it to beat it.

Yes many things help in the healing process. But I know I am on the right path to heal myself. I have all the tools now under my belt now and I get daily tools through conversations and meeting others and speaking with naturpaths and other practioners. I just need to stick to the plan. The mind leads the body. The body is cured by the knowledge and peace from the mind. We need to build our immune system daily by getting rid of any pathogens, bacteria that might be compromising our immune system. We need to build our gut biom and put the right foods in. Its a new way of life. everyone should be living this way really before its too late. I mean cancer rates are going through the roof. Every week there is another person I get an email from or a referral to ask could I speak to someone. Its incredible.

I was given this to learn a new route in life. You are reading this because your curious about this route.

Check your metabolic type here.
It then gives you a plan of what you should and should not be eating.
I took it onboard but I am not eating dairy.
Its very interesting.

I learned I am....
Metabolic Typing® Report for fiona cribben
Assessment completed on 3/19/2018 10:21:05 PM (PST).

42% SYMPATHETIC
19% BALANCED
38% PARASYMPATHETIC
32% SLOW OXIDATION
49% FAST OXIDATION

This graph reflects relationships between various factors controlling your metabolism, expressing degrees of metabolic imbalance.
Your Metabolic Type® is not necessarily indicated by the highest score in the graph.
Your Metabolic Type® has been determined as Fast Oxidation Dominant
While everyone's metabolism is regulated by a wide variety of mechanisms, your test results indicate that your metabolism is being controlled mostly through a system known as cellular oxidation - the "burning" of nutrients inside cells to create energy.
While certain foods and nutrients tend to increase the oxidation rate, other foods and nutrients decrease the oxidation rate. Fast Oxidizers (also known as Protein Types) burn carbohydrates too quickly and need to decrease their rate of cellular oxidation to achieve better metabolic balance and thereby optimize energy production.
Fast Oxidizers in general need a lower carbohydrate intake, and a higher fat and protein intake, relatively speaking, as compared to other Metabolic Types®. They are more capable of being meat eaters than other Metabolic Types®. They do poorly on vegetarian and high carbohydrate diets, which increase even further their already too overly fast oxidation rate, and which may result in weight gain, mood changes, fatigue, increase in appetite, and food cravings, especially for sweets or caffeine.

and these are the foods I should be eating.

Over and out.
